Skills Bank is a flexible pot of funding that can provide bespoke tailored training which directly meets the needs of employers and enabling them to choose the training provider they use.

BSA Training is an Approved Provider for the new skills investment programme that’s designed to support growth within businesses. The programme invests in bespoke training, driven by employer need. Approved ‘deals’ allow your business to decide who, how and where the training is delivered.

I need my sales people to be outgoing and dynamic, so they can approach problems creatively, and I need my accountants and administrators to be very rigid in their approach, to protect my business. However, the two groups were really struggling to interface with each other, and it was causing a lot of conflict. Small issues were becoming big problems and I knew I needed to take action.The long-term effects of this training have been dramatic. The conflicts happen less and less, and we no longer have the problems we did. I could see immediately that people were approaching each other differently before the day was even over. I think the continued support we receive from Bobby is instrumental in ensuring things do not just go back to the way they were before the training.

We accessed the Skills Bank Funding to support the delivery of a three-day Leadership Programme. The funding was very easy to access. All we had to provide was information about the business, what training we needed and what impact we hoped to see as a result of the training. We accessed the Skills Bank Funding to support the delivery of a two-day Marketing for Professionals course. The training covered sales meetings, questioning and listening skills, presenting a persuasive proposition, objection handing and business networking. Without the funding we probably wouldn’t be able to put the training on. The training gave the team a much-needed opportunity to sit down together to discuss current opportunities and challenges and work together to come up with a solution. We were very happy with how the training went and since the training we have used BSA again on our team away days for Leadership Training. The sessions were engaging, positive and insightful, providing practical skills we could use quickly back in work

We accessed the Skills Bank Funding to deliver a Team Leader course and Sales and Customer Service Course. The training we received was just what we needed. All our staff found it really useful and it was exactly what we had asked for. BSA were engaging and made the session enjoyable. Staff were able to see the immediate impact on their day to day working practices. The funding application was very straightforward and didn’t take long. We able to get 50% towards the costs which was amazing. In effect we were able to double our budget for training which meant we could do more.
