BSA Training Newsletter – July

Understandably I am reflecting on what’s worked well, what I could have done differently, and the plans for the future.Our highlights have included:

  • Recognised at the Doncaster Business Awards with ‘Runner-Up’ (2013) and Finalist (2014 and 2015) for Small Business of the Year, and Finalist (2015) for the ‘Success through Partnership Working’ award.
  • ‘Approved Training Provider status’ – full membership of Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs and the Association of Business Mentors.
  • Worked with a range of businesses from established to start-ups, across the country and from a range of business sectors.  The training has always been well-received with lots of examples of return on investment.
  • Worked in partnership with a range of Business Support Organisations in providing pre- and start-up training, assessment and mentoring.  As part of the National Mentoring Programme, BSA Training trained over 300 Consultants, Managers, Advisers and entrepreneurs to become Mentors and Coaches.
  • Supported 250 Graduates to gain employability through the Graduate Accelerator Programme ( – 80% secured successful outcomes.
  • BSA’s interactive, fun and innovative approach has been recognised with invitations to speak at a number of local, regional and national events.

We are approved providers for the Sheffield LEP Skills Bank and and the Leeds LEP Skills Service:

..and we will be using this funding to offer heavily discounted training!

We are speaking at a number of events including sessions on Leadership, Team Working, Understanding Self and Sales.

BSA Training will continue to work on pre-employment projects like the Ambition Programme and the Graduate Accelerator Programme

BSA will be launching our Coaching offer so that we can help key individuals to identify gaps in their knowledge and experiences, accelerate their development and performance, and help them to be re-energised and enthused about their role and business.
